Dietary Counseling

Prescription Diets

For each stage of your pet's life, we will give you guidance on nutritional requirements and proper feeding for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Be sure to consult us about the special requirements of pregnant and nursing mothers, as well as the hand-raising of puppies and kittens.

Nutrition is an important part of treating some disease processes. For your convenience, we carry many prescription pet foods and can order any others that your pet may require.

Pets who become overweight can develop health problems, such as diabetes, and extra weight can also cause arthritic pets more discomfort . We may recommend that your pet be placed on Hill's Prescription Diet R/D and started on a weight reduction program to fit your pet's specific needs.
