Vaccines for Cats
For More Information
|
| | Commonly we vaccinate for the following: - feline leukemia vaccine
- feline calicivirus
- feline panleukopenia virus
- rabies
| |
|
| | We also have other vaccines, such as feline leukemia vaccine, enabling us to tailor a vaccination schedule specific for your cat’s needs and lifestyle.
We recommend beginning the kitten’s vaccine series at 6 to 8 weeks of age and continuing with a booster every 3 to 4 weeks until 16 weeks of age.
If your cat is over 16 weeks of age and has not been vaccinated, or you are not sure, we recommend vaccinating your pet.
The first rabies vaccine is given at 16 weeks of age. Your pet needs to have the full vaccine series to be protected. We recommend testing all kittens at 9 weeks of age for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, as well as testing any new cats before introducing them to your cat family. | |
