| | Immunization is essential to your pet's health. Vaccines now control many pet diseases that were once considered fatal, and new vaccines are being developed regularly. Some, like rabies, are required by law, and others are needed based on the risks in our community and in the areas to which you travel. Remember that vaccinations are never 100% effective; they just give your pet the best chance of preventing the disease if exposed to it. So keep your pets away from animals known to be ill.
